3 Stones You Need To Know About If You Love Jewellery
(pictured, The Orbit Ring in Gold & Blue Topaz)
We’ve all loved or coveted a particular crystal at some point in our lives. They’re shiny, sparkly and you can’t help but want to run away with them in your pocket… and there’s a good reason for it.
Formed under intense pressure and heat millions of years ago, crystals found underground are believed to hold energetic and healing properties from the earth that can absorb, restore, regulate and release energy.
Each crystal has a purpose, and we’ve been using them for thousands of years. From the Ancient Romans and Egyptians right up till now, crystals have been used as aides for protection and guidance (black tourmaline), to nurture & heal (rose quartz), to purify and promote peace and patience (amethyst), restore balance (turquoise), and to bring prosperity and good fortune (citrine). Crystals can help you get in touch with your spiritual side while adding some major Zen to your jewels.
When it comes to choosing a stone there’s no right or wrong – whatever you’re attracted to is what you need. Crystals compliment anything and everything, so when you choose one go with the flow; listen to your body, acknowledge what you’re feeling (and what your gut is telling you), and if the energy, colour or cut of a particular stone grabs your attention – that’s the one for you.
Understanding the meaning and energetic properties of stones may give you an insight into what you need guidance with. We’re breaking down the basics of our 3 favourite stones featured in our best selling pieces.
Rainbow Moonstone
Is the goddess stone of feminine energy and joy. An opaque and ethereal stone that at first glance looks cloudy, but hold it in natural sunlight and you’ll see it shine a multitude of luminescent colours.
