aletheia & phos honours the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we create. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. 

aletheia & phos began with a question: how do you hold what matters?

For founder Alicia Millan, the answer was shaped by her Greek and Italian roots - cultures where memory is carried through ritual, food, gesture, and gold. She grew up with the precision of craft and the poetry of detail, learning to notice what others overlooked.

“My creativity is born from the simplest pleasures: faraway skylines, good olive oil, an electric connection. I feel deeply, and I believe that vulnerability is fearless.”

As a child, when words fell short, jewellery became her language. Metal carried what her voice could not: intensity, intimacy, joy. Over time, the pieces she created became vessels for connection - especially in the moments too complicated or meaningful for words alone.

aletheia & phos was born from that impulse: to give form to memory. To turn the invisible into something you can touch. Each piece is shaped from the moments that stay with us - a note slipped across a table, the warmth of morning coffee, the devotion that both steadies and lifts.

We believe jewellery is more than ornament. It is emotional architecture. A way to honour where you come from, and to carry forward what you choose.
